Welcome to the website of Hiram Lodge #12 on the Registry of the Grand Lodge Of Nova Scotia Ancient Free & Accepted Masons. We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month (excluding July and August) and would be pleased to receive a visit from Masons passing through the area.

There are three officially recognized degrees of Freemasonry:
When a man has been raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason, in addition to being eligible to hold office in the Craft Lodge, he is also eligible to petition the concordant bodies of Freemasonry for membership. Although some of these concordant bodies confer their members with numerical degrees, that go above 3°, there is no degree 'higher' than Master Mason (3°). |
